BMI-AGROPRODUKT LLC based in the village Pojatë of Ferizaj started working in 1996, initially with the
production of concentrated feed for all types and categories of animals, with a maximum capacity of one ton
/ hour.
Seeing the development trends of this field and market demands, in 2002 we started trading in
agricultural inputs, opening the first agricultural pharmacy in Ferizaj, and in 2007 with the opening of a
second one. With the aim of closing the internal production cycle, in 2003 we started producing laying hen
eggs for consumption with a modest capacity of 3600 or about 1mil eggs. This capacity gradually increased
reaching 25k chickens or about 7 mil eggs / year. In 2006 we started with the raising of chickens/pullets
for domestic needs and for sale with a capacity of up to 60,000 birds per year. In the meantime, the
production capacity of concentrated feed has also increased, and the production line has been modernized.
The current capacity of feed production is 5 t / hour. In 2022 the company was certified with ISO 9001:2015
and ISO 22000:2018
The establishment and development of the company is done mainly with investments and family
involvement, but also with the support of Kosovo Institutions.
The EU Green Deal is for the EU to become the first climate neutral continent by 2050, resulting in a
cleaner environment, more affordable energy, smarter transport, new jobs and an overall better quality of
life.
In 2019, the company has managed to benefit a grant from the European Union with the project Facilitating
Green Agriculture in Chicken Egg Farming. The aim of this project/grant was to modernize some production
segments, with the focus on making egg production as environmentally friendly as possible. This is achieved
with the installation of a 40kW capacity of solar panels and with the installation of the chicken manure
drying line using farm air and solar energy.
This technology is currently the only one in Kosovo and in the region.
As part of this project we have had the chance to invest in machinery that is environment friendly. We have
implemented Solar Panels, machinery to pellet of chicken waste, planting trees and flowers, as well as egg
collecting machinery to make employees job easier.
We will continue to work towards a more sustainable work place for our workers, the environment
while making sure the products we provide are of the highest quality.
Our objectives are to continue working towards facilitating tasks, maintaining the trust of our existing
customers and consumers, while gaining the trust of new customers.

to achieve our long-term objectives for market expansion.
Another very important objective is being more aware of environmental issues and what we can do
